Are you interested in building collaborative partnerships to produce unique events which ignite curiosity in Science?
The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester is devoted to inspiring futures through ideas that change the world, from the Industrial Revolution to today and beyond.
To help us with the creation of our annual, show-stopping, event that is Manchester Science Festival (MSF) as well as our year-round programme, we are looking for a Contemporary Science Programme Producer (Partnerships) to join our Learning and Public Programmes department, in Manchester, on a permanent basis.
As part of our Contemporary Science team you will build and develop strategic partnerships with cultural, science and community organisations in order to deliver creative programming, advocating both internally and externally for partnership and collaborative practice. The completed programme will include high profile live events, installations and projects at the Museum and around Greater Manchester, which are truly open to all.
Joining us, you will bring proven experience of ‘Thinking Big’ when it comes to researching, developing and delivering bold and ambitious events. You will have significant experience of delivering partnerships and cross-organisational collaboration, with knowledge of planning events for diverse audiences. You will also have excellent interpersonal and strong relationship building skills, being able to advise, support and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
