Be part of a fast-paced press office at Tate Liverpool, the home of the national collection of modern and contemporary art in the North of England. Based on the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool, the gallery has welcomed more than 18 million visitors to our collection displays and ambitious special exhibition programme since opening in 1988
As we prepare for the presentation of the UK’s first major exhibition of Keith Haring, it’s an exciting time to join us.
You’ll provide administrative support across the press office, responding to press enquiries, liaising with journalists, and handling media requests for filming and photography, and assisting the Communications Manager in getting key messages out to the media. Other duties include sourcing images for use in press campaigns and drafting copy for listings.
This is a rewarding but often pressurised role where you’ll need to juggle priorities, take the initiative in solving problems and show a flexible approach to work. Strong written and spoken communication skills are essential, as is a keen eye for detail. You’ll need to be IT literate with knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the capacity to learn about Tate databases and content management systems.
Our jobs are like our galleries, open to all
