Chief Executive, DaDaFest

Chief Executive, DaDaFest

DaDaFest is a pioneering disability and D/deaf arts organisation based in Liverpool but with international reach. Set up in 1984 we were one of the first disability-led arts organisations in the UK and we remain an integral part of the campaign for greater equality and access for disabled people.

We programme a multi-art form year-round artistic programme that includes high quality festivals, interventions and events as well as support for young and emerging disabled artists

We are looking for an inspirational Chief Executive to lead the future development of this ambitious charity. This is a new post reflecting what is an exciting and a challenging time for the organisation as we seek to expand our influence, reach and impact.

We need someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a good understanding of disability culture, experienced in leadership and change management who can demonstrate that they are not afraid to think creatively.

In light of the ethos of the company to promote the Social Model of disability, the Chief Executive must have direct or personal experience of disability and ideally have experience of working within or for a disabled-led organisation.

More information about the role and how to apply can be found here:

Closing date for applications is 5pm Friday 20 December
