We are Art B&B CIC – a community interest company (social enterprise) that has been established to renovate a traditional Blackpool seafront hotel through commissioning artists. We are creating a new business model where the profits of the fully operational hotel are re-invested into a creative training and development programme for local people and artists regionally and nationally.
We have secured the property, planning permission and substantial public funds (including ACE, Clore Duffield Foundation, Tudor Trust, Coastal Communities Fund and Power to Change) and are on the cusp of the capital redevelopment of the building. A B&B has grown out of LeftCoast www.leftcoast.org.uk – an innovative arts and cultural organisation creating and delivering great art and talent development across Blackpool and Wyre on the sunny North-West coast of England.
We are seeking individuals with ideas, energy and expertise to help us take this forward – it is your chance to be part of the formidable story of the Blackpool Landlady!
