Across Science Museum Group, our curatorial team are committed to inspiring futures by sustaining and growing our world-class collection and delivering a creative and bold programme of outputs including exhibitions, galleries, events and online narratives.
To help us build our research profile, develop our collections and deliver content for an ambitious capital redevelopment and public programme, we are looking for an Associate Curator to join us at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will work across the breadth of our subject area, undertaking research to identify potential acquisitions and disposals and draw out meaning from our extraordinary collections. The range of the role will provide exciting opportunities to develop your existing research profile and understanding of the material culture of science and industry.
Joining us, you will bring excellent collections experience and storytelling ability, allowing you to collaboratively develop exhibitions and events for the museum, communicating your knowledge of historic and contemporary science and industry to non-specialist audiences.
