Assistant Producer (Artist Development and Programming) – 37.5 hours per week, 2 year fixed term contract, £20,000 per annum plus staff benefits
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for an Assistant Producer to support our vision for The Lowry as a regionally leading and nationally significant cross-artform incubator for artists, companies and their work. The Assistant Producer will be responsible for supporting the work of the Senior Producer Artist Development and the Head of Theatre Operations to ensure the smooth running of the Theatres Programming Department.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the key opportunities and challenges within artist development and a specialism in dance, theatre or circus. They will also have experience of directly with artists and companies in a producing role or similar. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a strong passion for the arts.
