This is a new role in the Producing Department of Liverpool’s Royal Court. The position will support all aspects of producing in Liverpool Royal Court’s two spaces, and will have a particular focus on the area of Talent Development, supporting and developing new strategies and approaches.

Responsibilities
To work alongside senior management to organise and administrate all Liverpool’s Royal Court productions and projects.
To work as part of the Production and Theatre Engagement teams to develop and deliver pathways and strategies for Talent Development.
To liaise with touring shows and studio hires as required by the Creative Producer.
To act as a regular point of contact for emerging theatre practitioners and companies wishing to work with Liverpool’s Royal Court.
To develop and support pathways for the career development of artists and creatives we work with, including their endeavours beyond our programmes.
To ensure that the Talent Development programmes link directly to and are part of Liverpool’s Royal Court’s core mission and programme by working closely with the Senior Management team.
To promote the principles of the Creative Case for diversity in all Liverpool’s Royal Court’s programmes and in particular the work with artists engaging in talent development programmes.
Requirements
Share the ethos and values of the Royal Court.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
An interest in theatre producing and programming.
An interest in script reading and the script development process.
Proactive, able to work using own initiative, demonstrate practical common sense, juggle multiple priorities and effectively meet deadlines.
Good listener and able to process complex information.
Has emotional intelligence and emotional resilience.
Understand the necessity of dealing carefully, and within data protection legislation, with confidential matters, including handling both personal and business-critical information.
Perform consistently well whilst managing a diverse and, at times, extremely busy, workload across flexible working hours.
Excellent IT skills.
