Theatre by the Lake in Keswick is an important part of the English regional theatre scene, delivering a year-round programme of home-produced and visiting work and serving both communities of Cumbria and visitors to the Lake District. The current Artistic Director and Executive Director, who opened the theatre in 1999, both step down in 2016.
The Board of Trustees is now seeking an inspiring and effective leader to build on their achievements. It is looking for someone to provide artistic and organisational leadership, taking overall responsibility for the management of the organisation, and therefore the Artistic Director is expected to be the Theatre’s Chief Executive.
An appointment package appropriate to the level of this position will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
