Fuzzy Duck is a vibrant, friendly and highly productive creative studio and we’re looking to hire a talented Animator to join our growing team based Media City. As a central member of our design studio, you will work with the Head of Animation and other designers/developers on a variety of projects across a range of digital platforms – from initial brainstorm to final delivery – producing motion graphics of the highest quality.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients and developing animation from the concept stage
- Creating storyboards that depict the script and narrative
- Delivering presentations to clients
- Storyboarding
- May include designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment
- Developing the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements
- Using technical software packages, such as the Adobe Suite
- Recording dialogue and working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters and graphics) in order to produce the finished piece
- Working to production deadlines and meeting clients’ requirements
- Working as part of a broader production team, which might include liaising with copywriters, photographers, designers or developers.
You
You’ll be personable, super creative and happy to tackle any project given to you with the same level of enthusiasm and passion to deliver something amazing! All the usual caveats apply regarding your software skills. Whilst 3D isn’t essential an understanding of Cinema 4D would be beneficial.
Requirements
- Between 3-5 years similar experience
- Creativity

- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with projection would be a benefit
Hours are Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5pm or 9.00am – 5.30pm
