Age Friendly Arts Activator

Salary / Grade:       £18,065 – £18,795 Annual Salary (pro rata) Grade 2, scale points 3 – 5

10 month fixed term contract 1stJune 2019 – 10thMarch 2020

Working Hours:     18 hours per week worked over 7 days. (Wherever possible, a 5 day week will   be worked).  Actual hours will be determined by business activity but will include regular evenings and weekends, for which no enhancements will be paid.

Location:                 SCL Head Office in Swinton and delivering in Weaste and Seedley, Broughton and Langworthy

Salford Community Leisure (SCL) are recruiting for an Age Friendly Arts Activator whose role is to increase participation in SCL’s age friendly arts and culture offer and actively engage older people 50yrs+ in Weaste and Seedley, Broughton and Langworthy. This role and project is funded by Ambition for Ageing Salford and a partnership with Age UK Salford, Inspiring Communities Together and Salford CVS.

This role will be based at SCL Head Office, as part of the Arts Development team, as well as delivering in Weaste and Seedley, Broughton and Langworthy.
