Emily Speed, Architectural Review at Bluecoat

Abacus has been rethinking Bluecoat’s main gallery as a space where children can completely take over the exhibition, in a display entirely designed to enable children (and childish adults) to enjoy themselves in a space usually reserved for contemplation. As the exhibition came to a close, one of the main artists, Emily Speed, delivered a performance which took the gallery’s physical identity and turned it into yet another play object.
