Wirral Festival of Firsts, 29th June–14th July, Call for Artists

Wirral Festival of Firsts
29th June – 14th July
Call for Artists

Wirral Festival of Firsts is an annual community arts festival. It is 100% volunteer-run. Working with local partners, the Festival aims to celebrate the arts, inspire creativity, encourage participation, showcase local talent, bring outstanding performers to Wirral and offer something for everyone. The Festival aims to do something different or new every year. Although its main focus is West Wirral, events and activities have been held in Birkenhead, Greasby, Hoylake, Meols, New Brighton, Oxton, Wallasey + West Kirby. The 2018 Festival runs from 29th June – 14th July with a significant programme of community participation projects running from March onwards.

Here we are again with new ideas! And this year we expect some of our art displays to remain after the Festival as part of the 2018 Independents Biennial, the coordinated fringe programme of the famous Liverpool Biennial.
