Waterside Screenlight: Digital Arts Commissions
As part of the Curator Incubator project, CIT is pleased to announce a series of micro commissions designed to showcase the work of digital artists working within two dimensional disciplines.
Selected works will be presented via the Art Centre’s 55 inch touch screen monitor in a series on one month exhibitions commencing in July 2017.
We are looking for new, previously un-exhibited work in the latter stages of development. A micro-commission of £250 will be offered to successful applicants.
Artists working with photography, video, animation and mixed media are eligible to apply.
To submit entries:
- Send us a link (You Tube/ Vimeo/ website etc) and up to 100 words about the piece.
- Send up to 100 about your own creative practice.
- Any specific requirements to go with the display of your work (sound requirements / aspect ratio etc)
Please bear in mind that Waterside is a mixed use venue, so all submissions need to be suitable viewing for all ages.
