VISUAL ART OPEN PRIZE – Artist Call
Artists are invited to apply for the Visual Art Open Prize. The aim is to reveal and promote artists who are yet to establish their profile in the contemporary art world. Finalists will be exhibited at Chester Arts Fair 2018.
Entry fee £15, £10 for entrants under 24 years old.
There are 6 categories:
ï‚· Painting / Mixed Media / Printmaking
ï‚· Illustration / Drawing
ï‚· Sculpture
ï‚· Photography
ï‚· Digital
ï‚· Young Artist
The overall winner of the VAO will be awarded:
A cash prize of £1,000 to support the production of new works, a commercial mentoring package, an exclusive solo show, and an exhibition at Chester Art Fair. £250 will be awarded to each category winner.
