Skipton Building Society Grassroots Grants Scheme
now open (UK)Small community minded organisations who may find it difficult to win funding are invited to apply Skipton Building Society’s Grassroots Giving grant scheme. Grants of up to £500 are awarded to organisations from across the UK to help them to make a big difference in their local community. In 2017, 164 groups benefitted from a total of £81,500 funding with projects supported including:
- Sing Your Heart Out, Norfolk, for singing workshops for people with mental health problems.
- Ripley Rangers FC to purchase samba goal posts for 4 – 16-year-old football sessions.
- Giggleswick Gardening Group, Yorkshire for gardening equipment.
