About the Commission
We have taken over a disused shop space and are in the process of turning it into a hub for local activity. The front of the building is very prominent, however the shutters are currently drab and unloved, and we would like you to do something about it.
We are seeking expressions of interest and outline ideas from artists working in the fields of visual art and graffiti. Your suggestions could be abstract patterns, drawings, pictures of real things or even poetry and typography. No experience is necessary – we are interested in ideas and can help with execution. All ages and abilities encouraged to apply!
We would like to encourage people living in the local area to submit ideas but will consider applications from further afield.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm, Friday 26th January.
