Sage Foundation Enterprise Fund (UK/International)
A new initiative from the Sage Foundation, the Enterprise Fund will help entrepreneurs to build opportunities from bright ideas for projects and initiatives that help improve the lives of military veterans, young people under the age of 25 or women & girls in the UK. It is anticipated that this fund will enable new or piloted entrepreneurial ventures, that otherwise would go no further due to funding challenges, to grow. Eligible projects and ideas will address issues around:
- Education
- Enterprise and employment
- Diversity and inclusion
- Health and well-being.
Grants of between $10,000 and $25,000 will be awarded from a total pot of $500,000 to registered charities or not-for-profit organisations with an annual income of under $2million. Supported projects will have been operational for less than 2 years, be delivered within a 50km radius of a qualifying Sage office and offer Sage colleagues an opportunity to volunteer.
Previous projects supported include PowerMyLearning – a scheme that helps schools to use technology and digital learning to improve STEM literacy. The closing date for applications is 28th November 2017. Read more at: https://www.sage.com/company/sage_foundation/the-enterprise-fund
