LANCASHIRE FRINGE FESTIVAL 2019
WHAT IS LANCASHIRE FRINGE FESTIVAL? It’s a performance festival. We want to bring the best performers (comedians, poets, independent theatre, artists, entertainers etc) to Preston. We want the people of Lancashire to see some amazing shows. The festival takes place between May 15 and May 25, 2019.
Budget
This is a funded festival. We will pay you to perform. In most instances, shows will be free, using the Pay What You Decide model for audience contributions.
We are looking for a diverse range of shows and performers to be part of the festival, from comedy to live art and everything in between. If you think your show fits the bill we want to hear from you!
We want to commission proposals from between £50 and £750, depending on the simplicity or complexity of the show. Please include how much money you require to perform at the festival – but be realistic, we have to give value for money to our funders (don’t ask for £750 if you usually perform for £100). If we think you’re offering us a fair deal, there’s a much bigger chance of being commissioned.
