Warrington Contemporary Open and The Photography Open
Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival is back for its sixth year and it is shaping up to be our best yet!Â
Launching on 30 September 2016 this growing arts festival will showcase the creative talent of local, regional, national and international artists.
Packed with performances, exhibitions, events, talks and tours, one of the main strands of the Festival is our Contemporary Open exhibitions. Building on the success of previous years, the Contemporary Open will be hosted by Warrington Museum & Art Gallery, while the Photography Open will be on show at The Gallery at Bank Quay House.
We are inviting artists, living or working in a 50 mile radius of Warrington, to submit up to three works.
Submissions are now open on our website, where you can also find full details about conditions of entry as well as guidance for delivering final work if selected. The submissions deadline is 2nd September 2016.
For both exhibitions, first prize is £250 plus a solo exhibition in 2017, while second prize is £100.
