Applications are now open for this year’s European Media Artists in Residence Exchange programme (EMARE), enabling European artists to collaborate on projects and create closer bonds between European media art organisations.
In partnership with the European Media Art Platform, FACT invites residency applications from artists dealing working in digital media, including Internet and computer-based artists, filmmakers, and those working in media based performance, sound, video, robotics and bio-art. The residency includes a 3,000 Euro grant, 4,000 Euro project budget, funded accommodation and travel expenses up to 500 Euros. In addition to funding, the artist will be granted access to FACT Lab facilities, professional guidance, and presentation opportunities.
