Deadline: Friday 30 October 2015
We are offering a young artist (under 30) a £4,000 bursary to go towards a small body of work in stone. The successful candidate will be included in the prestigious on form 16 sculpture exhibition.
on form was founded in 2002, and is a biennial exhibition of sculpture in stone – the only one of its kind in the UK. For the first time, we are offering a bursary to enable sculptors at an early stage of their career to apply. Our next exhibition, on form 16, will take place in June-July 2016.
on form is set in the magnificent gardens, church and ballroom of Asthall Manor, near Burford, Oxfordshire. www.onformsculpture.co.uk Our reputation as a serious exhibition has grown over the years.
In 2010, Jackie Wullschlager wrote in the Financial Times:
“in a different class from the potpourri of conceptual installations elsewhere….on form is a serious, committed, intellectually adventurous biennial exhibition of stone sculpture, the largest of its kind in the UK.”

Please send examples of previous work, and drawings or maquettes with descriptions of work you would like to submit for on form.
For the exhibition we would like to show a minimum of 2 works of any size, at least one of which must be for outdoors. Inclusion requires a commitment to be present for at least two days to help with the exhibition and talk informally to visitors.
We encourage visitors to touch the work, so work which cannot be touched will not be considered.

All work is for sale, and we take a 20% commission on sales.
We expect exhibitors to take responsibility for transport and installation, but we give whatever assistance we can.
