Deadline: 11pm Wednesday 3 February 2016
The Northern Writers’ Awards 2016 are now open for entry.
The awards are for work-in-progress and cover genres including fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, children’s books and writing for television. Since 2000, the Northern Writers’ Awards have supported 197 writers from across the North of England.
With an award fund worth £40,000, there are awards available for writers at all stages: new writers can gain mentoring or developmental support, as well as introductions to the publishing and television industries, while for established writers winning an award can buy time to complete a project.
Entry is FREE and closes at 11pm on Wednesday 3 February 2016
