The Liverpool Empire theatre Trust and the Liverpool Echo have launched the Region’s
biggest multi arts competition.
The categories for entry are the widest ever including
• Photographs
• Paintings & Drawings
• Sculpture
• Poetry
• Plays, Books etc
• Buildings & Architectural design
• Models of any type
• Any similar areas (excluding music and dance)
Artistic Brief:
Liverpool is my City and this is how much I love it.
The brief is to use any arts form to show deep and abiding love of the city and to celebrate its role and position as one of the greatest and most famous Cities in the world. It can reflect its maritime and general history, world class leadership and outstanding success in fields including its famous waterfront, magnificent buildings, internationally respected medical services and hospitals, including Alder Hey, Liverpool Heart and Chest hospitals and the Aintree medical centres.
Also the famous entertainment centres, writers, musicians, comedians, international sporting events at Anfield, Goodison Park and Aintree, The Echo Arena and conference centre, Universities with more than 60,000 students, galleries, the Cavern Quarter and lots more.
Dates: The competition is now open and closes March 31st 2019
Format: Books, plays etc must be entered with a completed summary- maximum 500 words
Checks: The organisers reserve the right to request further information and to make all reasonable enquiries regarding all entries.
Usage: The organisers shall have the right to reproduce all entries in any publications or websites or other media used to promote the competition in any way.
Duty: The organisers and the judges will have the sole right to make all decisions regarding the choice of winners and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes: The winner will receive a cheque for £1000 plus a silver salver
Two runners-up will receive a cheque for £500 and a bronze salver.
Short listed entries will receive special award certificates.
