Media Business Trustee

Tate’s Board of fourteen Trustees governs Tate’s four galleries, its programmes and the Tate Collection. We are now inviting applications for two vacancies on our Board of Trustees.
We are seeking an individual with a global reputation in the physical and digital entertainment media or communication industries. The candidate should be keenly aware of current issues and topics in the public realm and should be willing to advocate on Tate’s behalf.
Applicants for the role will need to demonstrate a clear interest in the visual arts and a commitment to Tate’s values and to public service.
Board members are expected to dedicate at least two days per month (on a voluntary basis) providing fresh, independent thinking and strategic expertise and advice.
The appointment will be made by the Prime Minister, in consultation with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
