Call for Submissions
We are delighted to announce that Liverpool Art Fair is back for a sixth year, bigger and better than ever before! In 2017, the event will be part of the Pier Head Village and take place in a purpose built art gallery on Liverpool Waterfront for TEN WEEKS, giving talented local artists the opportunity the showcase their work to a huge audience of locals and tourists.
Liverpool Art Fair 2017 will take place from from the 1st July to the 10th September, at Liverpool’s Iconic Pier Head, as part of the Pier Head Village. This is an open submission event, and we are inviting all artists based within a 35 mile radius of Liverpool, to submit work for inclusion.
This new partnership with the Pier Head Village allows Liverpool Art Fair to not only extend its time frame from 4 days to 10 weeks but also increase its visibility and reach with this fantastic new location. We will also be able to include many more artists work and are therefore encouraging all locally based artists to get involved.
Liverpool Art Fair is an annual event which aims to showcase a wide range of affordable original art by a plethora of local artists; providing a unique insight into the region’s creative talent and the opportunity for everyone, from seasoned collector to first time art buyer, to own their own piece of the Liverpool art world.
Liverpool Art Fair was launched in May 2012 as part of the inaugural Liverpool Art Month, at the then brand new Camp and Furnace, which again hosted the event in 2013. In 2014 we moved to The Gallery Liverpool, where the event was held for three years. Each year we have showcased the work of almost 100 artists, selected from hundreds of submissions.
2017 will see our biggest year yet; we intend to showcase the work of hundreds of talented local artists to the hundreds of thousands of visitors who flock to the Pier Head every summer.

Work for inclusion will be selected by our independent panel and successful artists will be notified by the end of May.
