Independents Biennial 2018 open call
Independents Biennial 2018 is back with a festival that celebrates visual contemporary art across the entire Liverpool City Region. Working with galleries and studios around Liverpool City Region to create a festival that is open to new and diverse audiences.
Art in Liverpool are leading the Independents Biennial 2018, and we hope to create a vibrant conversation between all artists, galleries, studios, and areas of the region.
If you’re running, delivering or hosting visual contemporary art between July 14th and October 28th 2018 let us know, and we will consider your events as part of our programme.
Practitioners from all areas of visual art can submit, but it is preferred that submissions have a connection to the Liverpool City Region (past or present, personal or professional) and we encourage applications from artists from diverse backgrounds with unique perspectives. Please only submit your events if they are happening within the Liverpool City Region.
You may apply as a group, individual artists, or organisations.
To apply send details of your event(s) to independents@artinliverpool.com
We will make a decision as soon as we can and let you know if we can include your events in the programme. While we will give preference to submissions made before June 2018, we will still consider applications throughout the festival, up until the end of September 2018.
