We have a cheap deskspace available (£27.50/month) at Constellations’ art studio “Ley Lines” in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool, suitable for an illustrator/graphic designer/writer/something similar!
The studio is open plan, shared by a mix of 7 designers, illustrators and artists. There is a screenprint studio, “Paper Moon”, within, ran by 3 other artists. Handy for any screenprinting needs!
The desk itself is a shared space between two – it’s long enough for two people to work simultaneously (though the other creative – myself – is only there really two days per week currently) and each desk-half has some storage space for sketchbooks, pens, paints etc
As the studio is at Constellations bar perks include getting commissions (I was recently commissioned to produce a mural and sign work for them), being able to put on exhibitions there, free entry to events and discounted drinks! Also, the locations is amazing being in the heart of the Baltic creative district.
It would best suit a graphic designer or illustrator looking for a desk and a bit of storage rather than a fine artist who is in need of a larger space with a large amount of storeage space.
