The Cockpit Arts / NADFAS Award 2016
This annual Award is supported by The National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) and supports a designer-maker practicing a traditional craft that requires skills at risk of dying out. Since 2012, the Award has been organised in conjunction with the Heritage Crafts Association. The Cockpit Arts / NADFAS Award recipient will be awarded a place at a Cockpit Arts incubator for a year, worth £3,500.

Cockpit Arts / The Clear Insurance Award 2016
Clear Insurance Management continues to show their commitment to supporting creative businesses, having run The Clear Insurance Scheme for Craft Workers & Designer-makers since November 2002. The scheme has proved enormously beneficial to the UK craft community by providing an affordable insurance package tailored specifically to the needs of designer-makers.
Applications are invited for this Award which specifically aims to support professional designer-makers who have been in business for less than 3 years and have aspirations to develop their craft business.
The Prize – Match funded studio space and business development support for 1 year!
The Cockpit Arts / The Clear Insurance Award recipient will be awarded a match funded place at Cockpit Arts Holborn for one year, worth £2,500.

The Cockpit Arts Artist-Maker Residency 2016-18
In celebration of our 30th Anniversary and with support from Arts Council England, we are delighted to announce the inaugural Cockpit Arts 2016 Artist-Maker Residency. The Residency is a unique development opportunity for an artist-maker whose practice is based in craft and explores ideas and concepts. Cockpit Arts will provide a support structure for the selected artist-maker to develop their work and ideas, and at the same time work towards a sustainable model of practice.
The 2 year Residency is worth over £15,000.
