Developed With The Lowry: Coming of Age

We are looking for an original, fearless and bold artist or company to join our Developed With programme as they create a new work around the theme “coming of age”.
The successful applicant will be given a package of support to help in creating the show including £2k cash, technical support, marketing support, free rehearsal space, etc., and a high-profile premiere within our Week 53 Festival in May 2018.
As part of our Developed With programme, they will also benefit from a full year of wider professional development and a ringfenced £2k budget to help them take a significant step forward in their practice over and above the making of any particular production. Our work with artists and companies is highly bespoke but elements of support might include activities such as attending international workshops or private masterclasses, business training seminars, working with organisation development consultants, travelling to see work, mentoring from senior staff members across the organisation and coaching to help them identify and work towards future long-term goals.
This opportunity is open to performance makers working in any discipline and based anywhere within England. We particularly encourage applications from diverse, disabled and underrepresented artists.
