Call out for female performers – Liverpool Biennial Film
Artist / Director Lucy Beech is looking for female performers who are interested in being in her latest film. There are a number of roles available, and the film will be shot on location in Liverpool over the week commencing 4 April. Commissioned by Liverpool Biennial, the film will be exhibited in the city throughout the 2016 Biennial (9 July – 16 October).
The following roles are available:
Mediation Workshop Participants
Women aged between 20-50 to take part in a physical intervention workshop scene. The scene involves a number of other women training in door supervision. Performers playing the role of ‘mediation workshop participant’ will be led through a number of physical intervention techniques with a partner and then appear in a group scene where a number of women are being introduced to the industry by an expert.
The shoot takes place on Monday 4 April.
Focus Group Participants
Women aged between 25-65 to take part in a scene being filmed at the Sefton Palm House. The scene involves a focus group product launch for a pioneering new piece of technology. The focus group is gathered for a seminar at the Palm House during event showcasing this product. There are a number of speaking parts and we will be working with improvisation.
The shoot will take place on an evening between 6pm – 11pm over the week commencing 4 April at Sefton Palm House.
