Deadlines: Volunteer Coordinator: Friday 23 March / LightNight Volunteer: Monday 18 April
LightNight 2016 is taking place on Friday 13 May and Open Culture is looking for a team of amazing volunteers who are passionate about the arts to help out on the night.
If you want to gain experience working in the arts and fancy being part of one of the biggest nights in Liverpool’s cultural calendar, then they want to hear from you!
Volunteering at LightNight is a great way to learn more about delivering arts events and get useful experience for that all-important CV. We’re looking for confident, cheery sorts who are enthusiastic about arts and culture, enjoy talking to new people and are willing to be an ambassador for LightNight and Open Culture.
Open Culture are looking for volunteers to work across three areas on the night:
– Selling LightNight festival guides and merchandise
– Filling in audience surveys
– Helping out with specific LightNight events
There is also an opportunity for a voluntary Volunteer Coordinator – this role involves organising, briefing and looking after the team of volunteers out on the night. The Volunteer Coordinator needs to be available for approx. 15 days from 11 April – 18 May 2016.
