Abard Creations is working with a number of partners to develop an exhibition focussed on Homelessness. The exhibition will show work by artists who have experience of, or are currently homeless, and work by other artists who focus on the issues surrounding homelessness. The exhibition aims to start a conversation, to explore the challenges faced by the homeless and to blow the stereotypes out of the water.
We interested in hearing from any artists working on this theme and welcome proposals from artists who would like to exhibit, and in any media (visual arts, theatre, film). There might be spatial restraints on the amount of work and artists that can be shown, so please don’t be offended if your work can’t be shown.
Exhibition will take place in mid-November across various pop-up venues in Altrincham and Manchester. The deadline to enter is the 1st November. Delivery dates will be 5th-8th November.
There is no cost to enter but 20% of any sales will go towards raising money for sleeping bags for those most in need.
