Bolton Library and Museum Service – ‘Elements’ Exhibition Artist Residency
Bolton Museum is continuing its programme of exciting family friendly exhibitions this year with a futuristic exhibition ‘Elements’.
‘Elements’ marks the 150th anniversary and proclaimed, ‘International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (IYPT2019)’.
With a wish to develop artists and combine the themes of science and art within our public programme, we are commissioning an artist residency to run alongside our exhibition. We are looking for an artist to combine arts and science and create new work inspired by our exhibition. As well as being an ideal platform to showcase your work we are looking for an innovative varied public engagement outcome alongside the exhibition and residency, and, the potential of an exhibition of created artwork.
The exhibition will run from 9th November 2019 – 26th January 2020
