We are looking for four artists, collectives, makers or creatives to make site specific work exploring the theme of Space and Place, during a 2 week residency in April.
Those selected will work at Left Bank Leeds for ten days prior to exhibiting their work to the public on 14-16 April. With funding from the Arts Council England we are able to pay each artist or collective £1,500 as an artist fee and contribution towards materials.
This exciting opportunity forms part of a larger project that has been supported by Arts Council England, Leeds City Council and Left Bank Leeds. In addition to the Spring Residency, the project Space and Place will also include a series of photography workshops, a summer group show and a photography exhibition showcasing beautiful abandoned buildings. We will be announcing details of these on our website in due course.
