Ten UK community venues have been shortlisted to win a makeover from British design icon Terence Conran in the mydeco.com YourSpace competition. The venues, including a market hall in Shropshire, a special school in Solihull and a homeless shelter in London, now battle it out for public votes until 19 June.
The YourSpace competition is a collaboration between mydeco and The Times newspaper and will see one UK community space redesigned and reinvigorated by mydeco design board members, Sir Terence Conran and Tara Bernerd.
The shortlist has been compiled by public voting from over 200 worthy entries from across the UK.
