It was good to stroll along a traffic-free Princes Boulevard this afternoon and enjoy the atmosphere at ‘The Gathering’. They should do this more often.
Various stalls including a few artists, caterers, blessers, healers, poets, storytellers. Music, dance and videos. Good stuff.
It was presented by Liverpool Arts in Regeneration (AiR) working with South Central Neighbourhood Management and the Capital of Culture to develop the “Four Corners” commission within the Princes Park area of Liverpool 8. AiR has also been working with community groups in the area to produce work for this event. “Four Corners” is a Capital of Culture commission taking place over five neighbourhoods culminating in an exhibition
at The Bluecoat in July 2008.
