Red Brick Vintage set to open Red Brick Hangar dubbed ‘Mini-Camden of Liverpool’ in Cains Brewery Village
From the moment you step foot inside Red Brick Vintage, you’ll find yourself immersed in a jungle of rare curiosities and vintage splendour. Push through the curtain of fur coats and you won’t end up in Narnia, however, you will discover a doorway guarded with typewriters as you enter the greatly anticipated Red Brick Hangar: a village full of independent traders, local artists and start-ups.
Red Brick provides a shopping experience like no other and pride themselves on being a treasure trove of antiquities, rare finds and original pieces; where you’ll find everything you didn’t even know you needed!
Nestled deep within the heart of the cultural quarter known as the Baltic Triangle, Red Brick Vintage sprouted out of the skeleton of Cains Brewery Village and has now blossomed into a cultural hub, thanks to the owners that devotedly transformed the once abandoned warehouse back in January 2016, into a loving community where Liverpool-based businesses can get a leg-up and make an impact in the current corporate climate.
The Red Brick team, along with the owners Jan Mian and partner Deborah Steggle, are passionate about keeping the local community strong. They are currently developing the Can Hall into what can be described as a ‘Mini-Camden of Liverpool’ and a platform from which the local start-ups and newborn businesses can grow, with affordable units starting from a cabinet to rent for just £50 a month to a full shop or studio.

Site Manager, Chris Day explains: “The next chapter in the Red Brick story is to create a hub for new independents and emerging businesses giving them a platform to transform their passion into a blossoming business in a safe fuss-free environment where they can feel part of the thriving community.”
“We welcome all varieties of trade to join us in what’s soon to become the North West’s answer to London’s famous Camden Market.”
Creativity, Love and Community are the keywords in Red Brick’s manifesto, made clear with their history of supporting Liverpool charities such as Alzheimer’s Association linked in with Everton, Freshfield Animal Rescue and KIND, and collaborating with LIPA; offering students props to hire and even allowing them to perform and film on a unique set.
The Red Brick Hangar is due for completion by the end of April 2018, and will feature over 30 unique traders to create a one-of-a-kind retail experience. Follow them on Facebook for all the latest news or pop in to see for yourself at The Courtyard, Cains Brewery Village, Stanhope Street, Liverpool L8 5XJ.
