URBAN PICNIC – Thursday 26th April 2007

URBAN PICNIC – Thursday 26th April 2007 – 18:30

‘Give up computers and tv, rise from the desk, hokey cokey all around town. In out, in out, shake up the city’s past, explore the future, turn around to discover your Liverpool…’
April the 26th sees Urban Picnic raises the site lines ……
…with an untamed exploration and informal debate of RopeWalks Project and its open spaces, with some surprise guests! With the ever-changing skylines around us, the ‘Pool Project feel that celebrating our past achievements should be inherently combined with considering our future.

Meet at ‘Colin’s Bridewell’, situated on Campbell St, off Duke St at 18:30 for a journey of about an hour. We will be finishing the picnic outside the ‘Far East’ restaurant so if you would like to continue your journey, join us for a Dimsum! (£2:20-£3:50)
Urban Picnics is a project created with the aim of looking at underused or derelict land and how we can turn it into friendly spaces to create a healthier city. Our picnics take place in mystery locations that show you places and journeys you never knew existed or let you see familiar places in a new perspective…
Urban picnics are a part of The ‘Pool Project.
