The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations. The Lowry is also a registered charity with a long-standing commitment to using creativity & culture to support the wellbeing, life chances and positive development of children, young people & local communities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Learning and Engagement to manage The Lowry’s Learning and Engagement team (L&E) in the successful delivery of the Learning & Engagement strategy, connecting with The Lowry’s wider artistic objectives and programmes, working with and for a diverse range of children, young people and communities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of The Lowry’s youth and community work across Salford and the North West ensuring that all activities, projects and programmes delivered by the Learning & Engagement team are high quality, accessible, diverse and appropriate in their reach.
This role is operationally focussed with responsibility for financial & people management. You will have excellent communication and networking skills and a background in the arts sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interests and needs of children, young people and local communities.
