The Museum of Liverpool reopens to the public on Monday

The Museum of Liverpool reopens to the public on Monday 20 February in time for half-term school holidays.

Families will once again be able to explore the Museum and enjoy more than 6,000 objects which tell the story of Liverpool’s growth into the world’s greatest port, the city’s rich sporting and creative history and the people who make the place unique.

For half-term there are lots of family activities and crafts planned and Little Liverpool will be open again for business, keeping our young visitors entertained with plenty of hands-on fun.

The exhibition Reel Stories: Liverpool and the Silver Screen also reopens and with more than 40 original film posters and memorabilia, treats visitors to a fascinating look at Liverpool’s enduring relationship with film.

The Museum has been closed for seven weeks while it underwent essential internal works.

External work to steps and terraces will continue.
