Liverpool Fringe Festival Logo competition

The Liverpool Fringe Festival is looking for a logo that sums up everything that’s best about Liverpool and about the Fringe. We are looking for something innovative and experimental but still readable and only want original work.

The logo will need to work on a small scale so keep it simple enough for a T-shirt, coffee mug, or stickers. Coloured logos are welcome but it is essential that it can work with just black on white.

The competition is open to all age ranges. Submissions should preferably be a jpeg or pdf but postal entries will also be considered. More than one submission is welcome per person but all must be marked clearly with name, address and contact details.

The deadline is the 11th of January and the winner will be notified by the end of January.

The winner’s logo will feature on all 2008 Liverpool Fringe Festival publicity and will be the winner will be profiled on the website. The winner will be decided by a panel made up of Fringe Trustees and community representatives and may be approached to undertake further design work on behalf of the Fringe. The winner will also be presented with a presentation bowl handmade by a local ceramic artist.
