Learning To Draw

Every time I even think about maybe going outside the rain starts again. I’m fed up of walking in the rain now, I’ve had enough.

So in between webby stuff, I’m working my way through this supplement that comes with today’s Guardian. ‘Learn to Draw‘ gives a step by step method to drawing animals and with a bit of practice I will soon be confident enough to create my own safari scene complete with giraffes, elephants etc. (so it says here anyway)

Well I can do step 1 ok but am having some difficulty reaching anything like the final step. I’ll reread the instructions.

  1. Apart from the unaccountably smiling giraffe what miserable looking animals they are.

    That tiger needs help.

  2. I suppose they’re all tired of standing still while the artist draws them.
Giraffes like standing still though as long as they have leaves to munch

  3. That’ll be it Ian.

And perhaps the tiger will look a bit more cheerful later when it’s snacked on some of the other livestock.
