Unit 51 will receive a farm style makeover on the day with hay bale seating and a futuristic version of a barn dance, ‘Future Farm’ fitting in with Threshold’s theme for 2014 which is ‘Future Retro’.
All the family are welcome to attend the event which takes place on Mothers’ Day, why not bring Mum along for a fun afternoon of music and food? A modern take on Scouse will be available (including some free samples) as part of Project Scouse and there will also be a selection of Farm Feast producers in residence on the day selling artisan cheeses, pickles and more.
Children will also have plenty to keep them occupied, with activities including Robot gingerbread man decorating, cartoon projections and seed growing workshops on offer!
Chris Herstad Carney, producer of Threshold Festival said: “We love that we’re teaming up with Farm Feast, we’re excited about their event in May and having them join us for our Mother’s Day special at Threshold is hopefully the first of many collaborations.
“Working alongside Mellowtone and Dovedale Social we’ve put together one of the strongest line-ups of the festival weekend.”
