Panel Discussion: Slavery today in a Political, Social and Economic Context

A debate on modern-day slavery involving campaigners and academics introduced and chaired by Tim Hancock, Amnesty International. The panel speakers include Richard Benjamin, Head of the International Slavery Museum, Dr Mick Wilkinson, Wilberforce Institute, Meghan MacBain, Anti-Slavery International and Laura Simmonds, Stop the Traffik.
Each speaker talk for about 15-20 minutes followed by a tea/coffee break and a public question/answer session.
Bound is a Liverpool wide exhibition of works by international contemporary artists representing personal perspectives of the impact of slavery on humanity. The exhibition is in collaboration with Bound, Open Eye Gallery, FACT, the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, National Museums Liverpool and Tate Liverpool.
