Deadline: Friday 13 May 2016.
This is an open call for Watershed’s New Talent residencies. We are inviting applications from talented and ambitious individuals at an early stage in their professional development, based in the UK, who are looking to explore ideas related to creative technology within an open and inspiring Studio community.
We are delighted to offer three opportunities:
- One residency to explore a project around the theme ‘Making the invisible, visible’, with mentoring by former Studio residents, Interactive Scientific (iSci).
- Two open residencies (whose mentors will be chosen at a later date).
- The programme is three months in duration, running from Tue 5 July to Fri 30 September 2016. It is based at Pervasive Media Studio.
Creatives should apply as individuals, and will receive a bursary, a facilitated programme produced by Watershed, plus budget to support production material. We encourage applications from all people from all creative disciplines, and especially welcome applications from Deaf or disabled practitioners.
This is an excellent opportunity to be fully immersed in development of a project idea, whilst becoming part of the inspirational network of practitioners associated with Watershed.
If you would like to talk to someone in more detail about your eligibility, share some early thinking on a project you think might be suitable, or ask us some questions, we will be holding open sessions at the Studio on Wed 30 March and Tue 26 April. To book some time on either date, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing Date: Friday, May 13, 2016 – 10:00.
