Since 2001, the Liverpool Summer Pops has become established as an important part of the European summer music calendar, with some of the greatest names in music having played over the past five years.
Elton John, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Meat Loaf and Bryan Adams are among the dozens of artists to have performed at the event which attracts 100,000 people annually.
July 2006 will see the return of the Pops to Liverpool with its usual array of stars.
So far this year’s line-up includes The Who, Simply Red, Il Divo, Whitesnake and Bryan Adams with more acts to be announced in the coming months.
