Frakture Festival 2007 – Call to Artists & Musicians

The Frakture Festival of Free Improvised Music Liverpool: UK
Open Call to artists & musicians

The dates for the Frakture Festival 2007 are,
October : Thursday, 25th, Friday, 26th, Saturday, 27th Sunday, 28th 2007

This is the current plan: A small amount of funding is available for acts & artists to appear. Given the range of interest, the number of days we are trying to fill, those who wish to receive UK Musician Union rates are likely to be disappointed.

Regulars on the Free Improvised music circuit should know the range of fees we will have available. It is not unusual for acts to have there own “touring funding” too.

If you are new to the Frakture name, here is an outline of what we do

Frakture was established in 1997 to promote exciting and risk-taking new music & performance in the Liverpool area. Frakture delivers concerts and workshops in free improvisation, and provides a source of relevant information & support
See website for details:

There is additional funding available for workshops to be delivered in the context of the Festival too.

We wish to secure the schedule by the end of July, which is quick work.
Later applications will be considered too, if there are slots still available.
