The STEM Ambassador Hub manages over 2500 volunteer role models from science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) backgrounds to engage and inspire young people with STEM and STEM careers.
In order to assist our STEM team, we are now recruiting for a STEM Ambassador Support Coordinator, currently working remotely but contractually based at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester, on a fixed-term contract until March 2021. In this role, you will assist in the management and engagement of STEM Ambassadors with the programme, as well as supporting the team to ensure upcoming events are communicated and organised. You will support the management of school/community group requests ensuring all correspondence is courteous and helpful. You will also support the delivery of STEM Clubs CPD to teachers by managing registrations and communications.
Joining us, you will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You will have excellent attention to detail, and will be well-organised with previous experience of working in an administrative or support role. You will be a team-player with a proactive and creative solutions-focussed approach, flexible to adapt to the challenges and opportunities of working remotely during this time.
