The National Media Museum holds significant collections of photography, film and television. As part of the Science Museum Group we explore the science and culture of image and sound technologies, and their impact on our lives. With over 400,000 visitors a year, a vibrant cultural programme an ambitious Masterplan and an important role to play in the city of Bradford, we are looking for a Senior Exhibitions Manager to join our dynamic team.

As Senior Exhibition Manager you will lead the creative development and delivery of new exhibitions and cultural activities. Our high quality exhibitions are visitor focused, and designed to compete on a national and international stage. As Senior Exhibition Manager you will provide creative leadership and strategic direction to deliver engaging visitor experiences that build new audiences and grow the Museum’s reputation.

We’re looking for an influential individual who can lead a team of direct reports as well as manage different functions across the Museum and external contractors. You will have the ability to build and strengthen relationships and represent the interests of the Museum.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing projects from creative inception through to delivery. Experience of working in a museum isn’t essential, and the right person will be ambitious for themselves and for the museum and ready to make a difference.
