We are hiring a Senior Curator to take care of the remarkable collections of textiles and wallpaper at the Whitworth. These collections have been part of the Whitworth’s unique identity since its very earliest years. Now with an award winning new building, with exemplary exhibition spaces, study spaces and collection stores, there could not be a better time to join.
We are looking for a dynamic, open minded, passionate curator who loves textile and wallpapers and can demonstrate a thorough grasp of design history, current display and exhibition making trends and is committed to sharing their specialist knowledge with the widest range of people – from PHD candidates to toddlers and their parents.
